QR: ScanStash — Terms of Use
These terms describe the use of QR: ScanStash, developed by Ahmet Emin Tayfur. Contact: support@ahmettayfur.com. They supplement the license applicable to your App Store download and do not replace that license or mandatory rights under applicable law. Where Apple's standard end-user license applies, it is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

1. What the app provides
QR: ScanStash is an iPhone utility for scanning QR codes, saving web links with your own titles, keeping optional local previews and opening those links again. You may also add links manually or through the iOS share extension and use a configurable Home Screen widget. The app requires iOS 17 or later. The free plan allows up to 10 saved cards. QR and photo scanning, recent scans, search, previews, copying, sharing and the existing widget remain available without a subscription. An optional one-time ScanStash Pro purchase unlocks unlimited saved cards. There are no advertisements.
2. Your use and saved content
Use the app lawfully and only with content you may access or retain. You remain responsible for the addresses, titles, QR content and images you choose to save or share, and for any sensitive information contained in them. Do not use the app to circumvent access controls or another service's rules. Third-party content belongs to its owners; saving a link or preview does not transfer those rights.
3. Links, websites and QR codes
The app reads QR content; it does not certify that a code or destination is safe, authentic or current. The resolved web address is available before you choose to open or save a scan. A saved-card or web scan-history card tap can open its link directly in your system browser. Check the destination when appropriate before entering information or taking an action on a site.
Destination websites are independent services. Their content, security, cookies, availability and terms are controlled by their operators. We do not operate the linked menu, transport, payment or other services, and do not act on your behalf on those sites. A link may stop working because of an expired session, token, location requirement, network restriction or a change by its owner.
4. Preview images and widgets
A preview is a locally saved image of a page at the time you captured it. A widget may show that image or your card title. Neither is a promise of current prices, menus, schedules or other live information, and a preview does not make the website available offline. You decide whether to capture an image and whether it is suitable to display on your Home Screen.
5. Local storage and recovery
Your library is stored locally. QR scan history is separate from saved cards and is limited to the 20 most recent distinct scanned contents when enabled. We cannot recover your local library from our own server because we do not hold a copy. App removal, device loss, storage problems or other failures can cause data loss. Keep an independent copy of links you cannot afford to lose. The app currently offers no library backup or library restore service; Apple device-backup behavior depends on your settings.
6. Permissions, copying and sharing
Camera access is optional and managed in iOS Settings. Photo scanning uses the system picker for an image you select. Copying places the full address on the clipboard; sharing passes it through Apple's share sheet to a destination you choose. You are responsible for choosing the intended recipient. The Privacy Policy explains the related data handling.
7. ScanStash Pro purchases
ScanStash Pro is an optional, non-consumable In-App Purchase processed by Apple. Before confirming, check the localized price shown by the App Store. It is a single purchase, not a subscription or recurring charge. The purchase unlocks unlimited saved cards and has no scheduled expiry; it does not promise every future feature, perpetual app availability or cloud storage.
The right is associated with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Use Restore purchases in the Pro screen to request restoration through Apple when needed. Restoring Pro restores the purchase right, not a lost local library. There is no separate ScanStash account or purchase-transfer service.
If Apple refunds or revokes the purchase, Pro may stop being available and the free limit applies to new cards. Existing cards are retained and can still be opened, edited, copied, shared or deleted. Duplicate links do not require a new card slot. A link received through the share extension can wait on the device when the free limit is reached; open the app and free space or unlock Pro to finish saving it.
Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law; see Apple’s refund instructions. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to maintain a useful and reliable app, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every third-party website. Features may change or be discontinued. Any additional paid offering will describe its price and conditions before purchase; using the free plan does not create a payment obligation.
9. Responsibility and your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for third-party website content or transactions, or losses arising from relying on an outdated preview. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights. Any question about the app or these terms can be sent to support@ahmettayfur.com.
10. Updates to these terms
The date above identifies the current text. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate app or website notice. The license applicable to your App Store download and mandatory local rights continue to apply.
