Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By downloading or using GrammarLens ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is provided by Ahmet Emin Tayfur, Istanbul, Turkey.
2. What GrammarLens is
GrammarLens is an English grammar practice app. It generates exercises and explains mistakes using an AI language model.
AI-generated feedback can be wrong. Explanations, corrections and scores are produced automatically and are not reviewed by a person. GrammarLens is a practice tool, not a substitute for a teacher, a proofreader, or professional language certification. Do not rely on it for anything where being wrong has a cost.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher, to use GrammarLens.
4. Free use and usage limits
Part of GrammarLens is free to use. Because each exercise is generated on demand and costs money to produce, the app applies a daily limit to how many exercises a single installation can generate. This limit may change over time.
5. Premium subscriptions
GrammarLens Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store, offered as monthly and annual plans.
- Current prices and the free trial length are shown in the app before you confirm any purchase, and vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings, not in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policy. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. This does not affect any statutory rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use GrammarLens to break the law, to attempt to extract or misuse the underlying AI model, to send content you do not have the right to send, or to work around the app's usage limits — including by automating requests or tampering with the app or its server.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of GrammarLens, including features that are currently free. The service depends on third parties (Apple and Anthropic) and may be unavailable when they are.
8. Termination
We may suspend access if these terms are broken. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it; see section 5 for cancelling a subscription.
9. No warranty
GrammarLens is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its feedback will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for GrammarLens in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, and disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, Turkey. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
